Experience

Heather King, the founder of Addos Consulting, has over 18 years experience in the industry, including senior positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as contract research organisations.  With experience in medical writing, clinical research and project management in a number of pharmaceutical companies and CROs, Heather then completed an MBA (including a dissertation on “The Use of CROs within the Pharmaceutical Industry” awarded with distinction) and moved into the commercial side of the industry. 

Her commercial career has included Director level roles leading the Business Development activities for the CRO Quintiles in Europe and subsequently managing its Business Planning activities.  She has also held Director level positions in Strategic Planning and Investor Relations for UK listed biotech companies, most recently at Vernalis.
